Device setting:

WiFi Router:

  1. If your Flame Boss or Egg Genius controller does not connect to your WiFi Router after selecting it from the list of available networks and entering the password for your WiFi network is completed. Either your password was entered incorrectly, or your network security is set too high.
  2. You should contact your service network provider to confirm your 2.4Ghz connection is enabled, its password and lower the security settings for it.
  3. Google the make and model of your Wi-Fi router and 2.4 GHz devices not working.
  4. Reduce Distance: Ensure that you are within range of your router. 2.4 GHz signals can sometimes be weaker if there are walls or obstacles in the way.
  5. Check for Interference: Move other electronic devices (like microwaves or cordless phones) away from the router, as they can interfere with the 2.4 GHz signal.
  6. Update Router Firmware: Ensure that your router’s firmware is up-to-date. Manufacturer updates can fix bugs and improve connectivity.
  7. Try to connect the controller to a different Wi-Fi network, such as a hotspot on your phone, or a friend’s Wi-Fi network, to verify the controller’s Wi-Fi works.
  8. You can also have a guest network setup with an SSID/Name fb and password fb200200.

If you are still experiencing an issue with not getting your controller connected to your home WiFi network.

Contact your service provider and have them make the settings to your router. Please note the setting does not compromise your security or make any changes to your current connected devices. The changes only work for the controller.
